Design thinking and the systems approach have been making their way into the non-profit, social change sector over the past few years. What are your thoughts on the potential of these approaches for the SDGs, specifically in the area of climate change, nature-based solutions, and forest protection?

This article by Tim Brown and Jocelyn Wyatt of IDEO provides an overview of the concept of design thinking, and this UNDP report on design thinking for public service provides insight on design thinking for governments. This blog on the World Bank Communication for Governance and Accountability Program site gives a brief overview of the systems approach. Please share resources and your experiences in this area.
